Is Your Chrome Browser Up to Date?
Follow these steps to see if your Chrome browser is due for an update.
- Open your Chrome browser, click the 3 dots icon in the top right corner, and select Settings.
- Select About Chrome. Click Chrome OS Settings.
- Click Check for Updates. If there is an available update, the update should download and install automatically. Once the installation is complete, you will be prompted to restart the machine or relaunch the browser.
- If Chrome is up to date, you will see a blue check mark and a message that states “Google Chrome is up to date”.
