You can add additional multi-factor security authenticators (MFA) through your OneLogin Portal. This ensures you are never locked out of your portal.
Add Additional Security Factor
*This can be done on a computer, laptop, or Chromebook.
- Log in to your OneLogin account.
- In your portal, click on your avatar next to your name and select Profile
- Under Security Factors, click Add Factor.
- Choose OneLogin Security Questions and follow the prompts to add security questions to your security factors. Or choose OneLogin Protect and be sure to have your phone nearby.
You will now have the option of choosing between OneLogin Protect or Security Questions when signing into OneLogin. Discover how to switch between your MFAs at the login screen.
Remove a Security Factor
*This can be done on a computer, laptop, or Chromebook.
Adding an additional security factor also makes it easier for you to update / remove a security factor. You must always have one security factor set up in order to sign on with OneLogin.
For example, if you need to change / update your Security Questions, you can delete this factor and set up new questions. If you have OneLogin Protect as your MFA and receive a new phone, you can delete your current OneLogin Protect MFA so that you can re-add it again to sync with your new phone.
- Access your security factors window as mentioned previously.
- Next to the security factor you wish to remove, select the 3 dots icon and select Remove.
- Then, select the Add Factor button to add your security factor again.
If you are unable to remove a security factor, please submit a request.
