All Middle and High school students will be required to register / create security questions for their OneLogin account. This self-service "forgot password" capability allows students to reset their own password.
Set Up Security Questions
Students can create / update their security questions from their OneLogin Portal. Click on your initials / avatar in the top right corner of your portal and select Profile.
In your profile, select Security factors. Click Add Factor to create your security questions.
Select 3 different questions and provide an answer for each (note: answers are CASE-SENSITIVE). Please choose questions & answers you can easily remember. Click Continue to save.
Note: You may utilize Show to preview and verify you have entered your answer correctly.
Now you can utilize these security questions to reset your password if needed.
Use Security Questions to Reset Forgotten Password
If you forget your password, select Forgot Password on the login screen.
Enter your username (ex: your student ID or CPS student email address).
Answer your security questions.
You will be prompted to change and create your new password which must be a minimum of 6 characters.
Remove & Update Your Security Questions
To reset / remove your security questions:
Access your OneLogin Portal, click your name / avatar, and select Profile.
Select Security Factors.
Click the 3 dots icon in the security questions pane and select Remove.
You will be prompted to create new questions on your next login attempt.
