Timesheet Submission and Approval Process
Timesheet submission and approval is a two-step process. The first action requires the employee to verify that their timesheet accurately reflects their time, extra duties, and locations. Once they verify their timesheet and have submitted any necessary corrections, they submit their timesheet. Once submitted, their supervisor will be able to review and approve the timesheet.
Employees who performed any work during the pay period for the two-week period ending the day after a paydate must review and submit their timesheet anytime between Sunday at 12:00 am and Tuesday at 9:00 am. Once a timesheet is submitted by an employee, a manager can reject the submission if needed.
Supervisors must approve their employees’ timesheets anytime between Tuesday at 9:00 am and Wednesday at 9:00 am following a paydate. Once a timesheet is approved by a supervisor, Payroll can reject the submission if needed.
