UKG Ready: Time Clock Overview

About the UKG Time Clock

1. Badge Proximity Reader.
2. Indicator Lights
   • Green indicates that the terminal successfully read a badge.
   • Red indicates that the terminal did not successfully read a badge.
   • Yellow indicates that the terminal is receiving power.
3. Soft Keys
   • Press soft Keys to clock in/ out, check accrual balances and review time sheet.
4. Home
   • Press this button to return to the home screen from any transaction page.
5. Screen icons
   • UKG includes two (2) screens that can be referenced when entering time.
   • The dot icons indicate which screen you are on (first or second).
   • Scroll up or down to navigate between screens.
     

Clock In or Out for a Shift 

• On the screen, tap the Clock In/Out soft key.
• Then enter CPS employee ID when prompted.
      

Review Schedule, Accrual Balances, and Time Off Requests

• Scroll between screens. Select the appropriate soft key.
• Follow prompts.
      

Common Error Messages 

• Error 01-1- Error reading badge: You may not have tapped properly. Try again.
• Error 06-2- Unknown home employee: Employee ID issue. See your Supervisor.  
• Error 04-1- Rejected: You have already successfully clocked in. Wait a minute, then try again.
