How Parents Request ParentVUE Activation Code
This process will allow parents (who currently have a ParentVUE account) the ability to request a ParentVUE account activation code.
- Please note this process ONLY works if you, the parent, has an existing record in Synergy and all the data you enter exactly matches what's in the system for your account.
Parents who are brand new to Chesapeake Public Schools or have no parent record in Synergy will need to create an account by navigating through the Online Registration Account Access screen (OLR).
- Go to the parent screen for ParentVUE using a web browser.
- Click the dropdown arrow for Click here to create an account or reset your password and then click on the Request Account Activation button.
- Enter the following parent's information:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number (include area code)
- Student’s Date of Birth (numbers only)
- Click the Request Activation button. An email is then sent to the parent's email address.
- After clicking on the Request Activation button, you will receive the following message screen:
"Your request has been submitted. You will receive an email at the provided email address within 24 hours".
- Once you receive the email, click the link embedded in the email. You will be redirected to a site to create your ParentVUE account.
