Synergy mail delivery was changed to better provide a more secure message delivery system. Student data is sensitive, and as stewards of the data, CPS is responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to it. This was done to prevent emails and their contents from inadvertently being sent to people who should not view the content, and possibly violating FERPA and other privacy-focused legislation.
