Enable CPS Staff OneLogin Protect MFA for Android

First, visit your Google Play Store and install the OneLogin Protect app on your mobile device.

Set Up OneLogin Protect Using Only My Android

NOTE: If you do not have a computer, you can use your mobile device by utilizing OneLogin Portal App. 

  1. Ensure the OneLogin PROTECT app is installed on your device.
  2. Then, visit your OneLogin PORTAL app > Profile > Profile dropdown arrow > Security Factors > Add Factor > OneLogin Protect > Activate and it will auto-sync device to your OneLogin Protect app. 
     

Set Up OneLogin Protect Using a Computer and Android

*You will need your mobile device and a Chromebook / laptop to complete this process when using cpschools.onelogin.com to complete setup.

  • Ensure the OneLogin PROTECT app is installed on your device.
     
  • Once installed, open the app and tap on the + sign to Add first account, then tap to select OneLogin.

  • Allow camera permissions and tap on While using the app. You will need this to scan a QR code.

  • Allow or enable permissions for push notifications.
  • Next, leave the QR code window open and put your mobile device aside.
  • Get on your computer and visit cpschools.onelogin.com in order to obtain your unique QR code. 
     
  • In your OneLogin Portal, select your avatar > Profile > Security Factor > OneLogin Protect.

  • At the OneLogin Protect install window, click on Activate. NOTE: You must have first downloaded the app before clicking Activate.

  • Then, select iPhone & Android. Grab your mobile device and scan the QR code on your computer screen into your OneLogin Protect app.

  • A green checkmark will appear indicating that the device is paired.

  • Every time you access OneLogin, a push notification will be sent to your mobile device to authenticate your login. Click the OneLogin Protect notification on your mobile device.

  • Click Accept to authenticate your login. NOTE: You can also open the OneLogin Protect App to locate a one-time 6-digit code to enter manually (as needed).
